Compatibility

User Experience

When used in Windows, the product is plug-and-play. For Mac users, first format the drive and select the ExFat format. In gaming devices, simply follow the steps prompted by the system pop-up window to use it. For PlayStation 4 and 5, some initial setup may be required. PlayStation 4 users find "USB Storage Device" in the "Settings" screen and follow the system prompts, while PlayStation 5 users need to move PS5 games to the device to run them.

Gaming Restrictions

Due to manufacturer restrictions, the PS5 can directly read and run PS4 games from an external hard drive, but cannot run PS5 games directly without moving them. Similarly, the Xbox X Series and Xbox S Series can only run Xbox One games directly from an external hard drive.
